Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, 1975, in St. John's Catholic Church, Bradford, for Mrs. Ray (Julia) Blaisdell, 85, of Bradford, who died Thursday, March 27,1975. The Rev. Thomas Carmody officiated.
Casketbearers were grandsons, Larry, Jerry and Chauncey Blaisdell, Jim and Jay E. Terwilliger and Jim Blaisdell. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery. Mrs. Blaisdell was born in Tiskilwa March 8, 1890, the daughter of Thomas James and Maria Driscoll Cooney. She married Mr. Blaisdell in Bradford in 1910. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, J. Robert of Tulsa, Okla., John R. and Thomas J., both of Bradford; a daughter, Mrs. Shaw (Lillian) Terwilliger of Virginia, 111.; 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death in addition to her husband by a son, a daughter, five sisters, and a brother.
Mrs. Blaisdell was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
