She was born May 18, 1920 in Randolph County, the daughter of Osto and Goldie Mae Romack. Ardith was a homemaker, a member of Winchester Friends Church and worked as a recording secretary for many years.
Her survivors include two nieces, Janet Neu (husband, Rodney) and Cindy Phenis, all of Winchester; one nephew, Robert Kaugher (wife, Joyce), Winchester; and her cousins, John Coon, Dr. John Corrigan, Columbus, OH and Ed Corrigan, Whitefish Bay, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of forty years, John Coon; two brothers, Eugene Romack and Arnold Romack; one sister, Virginia Kaugher; two nephews, Steve Romack and Mike Romack; and one niece, Diana Study.
Cremation will take place and graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville with Pastor Ron Ferguson officiating.
