Died, Friday, Sept. 21, at his late residence in Dawson, Mr. Charles H. Cooley, aged 77 years, 5 months and 21 days. Mr. Cooley was born in Withe county, Va., March 31, 1817. He came to Illinois in 1843 and had resided in Sangamon county since 1844. He is survived by one brother living in Scotland county, Mo.; one sister living in Kahoka, Mo.; one son Frank in Oklahoma, John and Albert in Riverton; a daughter Mary in Kansas City, Mo.; a son Charles in Salisbury; a loving wife, two sons and three daughters residing in Dawson. The funeral will occur from the late residence at 11 o'clock this morning, after which the remains will be interred in the Taylor cemetery near Barclay.
