Juanita Laconyea Cooley, age 58, of Welcome Ave. Ext., Greenville, SC, died March 5, 2011 at her home.
A daughter of the late Irby Lee Workman and Geraldine Yeargin Workman and stepdaughter of the Rev. Carrie Brewster Workman, she was a member of Athens Baptist Church in Travlers Rest, SC, and the Nicholtown Community Choir, and a former employee of the City of Greenville.
Surviving are a daughter, Lawanna Roberts of Piedmont, SC; a son, Marcus (Fredericka) Cooley of Greenville, SC; a brother, Michael (Diane) Workman of Greenville, SC; a sister, Lenita Copeland of Greenville, SC; and six grandchildren.
