Margaret E. Arnett, 87 of Palmyra, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born August 16, 1919 in Greene County, the daughter of Alvin and Ethel Welch Cooksey. She married Wayne Arnett, November 12, 1938 in St. Charles, Missouri, and he preceded her in death in 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Jack) Kemp of Charleston, and Nancy (Dale) Tosh of Hettick; two sons, Kenny (Margie) Arnett and Rick (Kathy) Arnett of Hettick, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was a longtime member of Gilead Baptist Church in Hettick and enjoyed her affiliation in WMU.
Services were entrusted to Stults-Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of Palmyra, Illinois.
