A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Riley and Nancy Cathey Cook. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Bradley who died in 2003; six sisters; and four brothers. She was a member of Long's United Methodist Church.
