COOK FUNERAL TODAY Final rites for Mrs. Pearl Smithson Cook, 47, wife of B. V. Cook, employee of Nashville Terminals, who died yesterday morning at her residence, 307 Antioch Road, will be held at 10:30 o'clock this morning at the Radnor Church of Christ. The Rev. F. Gaston Collins will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Cook had been in failing health for the past 6 months. She was a native of Smyrna, Tenn., and had been living near this city since 1912. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Clay Woods, and the Misses Frances and Nellie Cook; one son, Roy Cook, all of Nashville; three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Haithcock, Mrs. W. B. Coleman and Mrs. T. W. Davidson, all of Murfreesboro, and three brothers, Evander and John T. Smithson, Sr., of Smyrna, and Charlie Smithson, of Murfreesboro. Pallbearers will be W. P. Stanford, C. L. Lynch, J. C. Dillingham, W. C. Waggoner, Bennett Corley and F. Turner.∼'
Pearl (Smithson) Cook was born on June 18, 1887 in Tennessee, the daughter of D B Smithson and Frances (Bethel) Smithson.
She was married to B V Cook.
Living at 307 Antioch Road, Nashville, Pearl was 49 years old and married when she died at home of stomach cancer on January 27, 1936. Burial was the next day in Woodlawn Cemetery.
