Anna "Louise" Cook of Longmont died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Applewood Living Care. She was 89. Mrs. Cook was born March 18, 1914, on a farm near White Cloud in Brown County, Kansas to Joseph and Sarah Elizabeth (Pierson) Swaim. She grew up in Hiawatha, Kansas and graduated from Hiawatha High School. In the late 1930's she married Earl Myers, whom she later divorced. She then married Howard L. Cook on June 22, 1957 in Loveland, Colorado. They lived in Longmont. She worked for Longmont United Hospital and was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Hiawatha and also attended LifeBridge church in Longmont. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Maxwell and Clarence Swaim; and two sisters, Vera Bowen and Maude Grimes. She is survived by a son, Joseph A. Myers and his wife, Judie; four grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
