Mrs. Elizabeth Cook Antrim was born in Ohio, Dec. 23, 1837. She was the daughter of John and Priscilla Cook and was one of ten children, she being the third from the oldest.
She was married to Amos Arthur Antrim, Sep. 8, 1859 near Lacon, Ill., and survived him two weeks.
She was the mother of three children, one daughter and two sons, the daughter dying in 1883 and one of the sons dying in 1907.
One son and thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild survive her, also two brothers, one of which J.H. Cook from Persia, Iowa was present at the funeral.
Before her marriage and early in life she united with the Christian church, but coming west not finding a church of her early faith she united with the Methodist Espicopal church where she remained till death. Sunday night, Sep. 19, 1909, death came to her.
Funeral was held at the home Tuesday, G.H. Starring, pastor of the Baptist church officiated in the absence of her pastor. E.Bowen.
