Boonville resident Dorothy J. Autry passed away Sunday, Jan. 31 at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville. She was 82.
Dorothy was born April 3, 1927 in Eagleville, Mo., to Andy and Una Cook.
She worked at Indiana Knitwear in Greenfield until her retirement in 1989, when she moved to Boonville. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, taking care of her pets, and being with her grandchildren and attending their athletic and fine arts activities. She attended Main Street General Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; a sister; and two husbands, Lamar W. Collier and Harold N. Autry.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Linda D. Inman; a son-in-law, Jed M. Inman; and three grandchildren, Nathan, Lauren and Lindsey.
The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Waits and the staff at Oncology Hematology Associates for their kind and compassionate care during her treatment for cancer. Also, many thanks go to the great staff at Woodmont.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
