Vivian was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Ralph W. Cook; son, Karl Cook; parents, Horace D. and Grace Fidelia Orchard Brown; siblings, Marion B. Webster, Eleanor B. Swan, DeWitt Brown, Grace B. Conley, William Brown, Francis Brown, Edwin Brown, Laura B. Millard.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher R. and Paula Cook; daughter, Kathy "Kate" Cook Fischthal McCain; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Brent and Beth Fischthal and their children, Allison and Grant, Kevin and Connie Fischthal and their children, Aden and Juliet; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin and Cecelia Brown; sisters-in-law, Leona and Dotty Brown; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Vivian will be remembered for her love of family, golf, gardening and bowling.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Darling Cemetery, Rome, PA.
The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
