Member of Monroe County Senior Citizens and South Madisonville Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Nellie Jean and Hershel Henry of Madisonville, Tennessee, Margaret and R. C. Williams of Madisonville, Tennessee; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Wanda Cook of Madisonville, Tennessee, William C. "Buster" and Peggy Cook of Madisonville, Tennessee, Jack and Sherry Cook of Madisonville, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Hickson of West Carlton, Ohio; brother, Boyce "Bunt" Forshee of Madisonville, Tennessee; four nieces; two nephews. Preceded in death by her sons, Ted Cook, Jimmy Cook and Fred Cook. Funeral 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 1988 at South Madisonville Baptist Church with the Reverend R. L. Davis officiating. Interment in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state 30 minutes before the service. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, March 8, 1988 at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, Tennessee.
