Harold A. Cook, second son of Albert A.
and Elsie M. Cook was born near Irving,
Kansas on August 12, 1891 and passed
away at the home of his father on March
16, 1924 at the age of 32 years, 7 months
and 4 days.
On February 28, 1917, he was married to
Miss Aurelia A. Miller of Frankfort,
Kansas. Three years were spent on the
farm of S.R. Cook in the Antioch area
and during the past four years they have
resided in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
On the night of June 16, 1923, while in
the Rock Island yard he was seriously
injured, resulting in a fractured skull,
paralysis of the right side and impaired
speech, from which he never recovered
while Bright’s disease was the direct
cause of his death.
Mr. Cook was preceded death by an infant
sister some years ago and his mother in
Funeral services were held at the A.A.
Cook home on Wednesday afternoon
with Reverend J.E. Spry officiating.
Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery,
southwest of Frankfort, Kansas.
