Our beloved, LaFreda Dale Cook, born July 8, 1943 went home to be with our Lord on August 29, 2010 after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Winnfield, raised in Georgetown, and a longtime resident of Conroe, Texas. She was an elementary school teacher in the Conroe, New Caney and Aldine School Districts for 33 years.
Dale will be forever remembered as a special, loving and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, Grammy, aunt, sister "Cissy", daughter, friend and teacher to many. Her legacy includes over 25 years of teaching 2nd Grade in the Conroe Independent School District. She had a positive influence in everyone's life she touched and was a role model for many. She had a passion for her family that was evident to all who knew her. Her greatest role was that of being a faithful and loving wife, mother and proud Grammy.
