Judith Hardy Frazier, 63, of 116 King St., Springfield, died Friday morning at the home of her mother, Victoria Conte, 71 Newton Ave.
Born in Pittsfield on June 19, 1942, daughter of Victoria Stockley Conte and the late Joseph Conte, she was a 1957 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She had been a resident of Springfield since 1970.
Mrs. Frazier was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for many years.
She loved animals and took great pride in taking care of stray animals.
Besides her mother, she leaves her husband, Ernest Frazier of Springfield; a daughter, Victoria May of Richmond; two sons, Anthony Conte and Nicholas Hardy, both of Springfield; a sister, Gail Hall of San Jacinto, Calif.; two step-daughters, Evenus Thompson and Regina Frazier, both of Springfield, and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Mrs. Judith Hardy Frazier, who died on Friday, April 21, 2006, will be held tomorrow, April 27, at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Church, celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, care of DWYER FUNERAL HOME, in her memory.
