Bert died October 12, 2010 at a Veteran Administration hospital. He was born December 6, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois to Bert M. Constant and Lorraine Elizabeth Worth.
He attended Eastern Illinois University and enlisted in the Marines in December, 1971, following his father and mother who were both in the military. He attended NCO school at Camp Brooks, becoming a counter intelligence specialist. He served in Viet Nam receiving many medals and awards.
He became a Logistics and Transportation Manager with Fingers Furniture (Ashley Furniture). He established the company office in Texas.
Bert loved to write music and play the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Survivors include son Scott, brothers Stephen and Craig.
