Bowman, Doris C., age 81, a resident of Millbrook, AL and former owner of Monograms ETC passed away peacefully on July 19, 2005, at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Southern Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 5 pm - 7 pm at Southern Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Bowman, son; David Bowman and step son; Charles Ralph Bowman. She is survived by three sons; Carl and Elisabeth Bowman of Montgomery, AL, Richard Bowman of Millbrook, AL, Danny and Debbie Bowman of Millbrook, AL; one step son; Larry Wayne Bowman of Ft. Davis, AL; one daughter in law; Melinda Bowman of Prattvillle, AL; six grandchildren; Jakob Bowman; and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Carl Bowman, Jakob Bowman, Kevin Bowman, Michael Bowman, Jimmy Pearce, and Greg Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Green and John Willis.

Arrangements directed by Southern Memorial Funeral Home.
