MAXINE M BEAN
ROMNEY, W.Va.-Maxine Mae Bean, 73, of Romney, died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney.
She was born on June 7, 1925, in Hardy County, the daughter of the late Sam and Anna Elizabeth (Davidson) Constable. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Bean, on Sept. 25, 1960.
Mrs. Bean had served the public as a waitress all her life in Romney. She worked at the Green Palm, The Carlton and the Pioneer restaurants. She was a member of the Romney Christian Church, Romney.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Kay Haslacker, Shanks, Marilyn Ann ``Pam'' Barnes, Romney; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Romney Christian Church on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at 1 p.m. Mrs. Bean's body will be taken to the church at noon to lie in state for one hour before the service. Minister Dewitt Clinton will officiate.
Interment will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney.
