Jacob Conrad is listed in the 1878 St. Louis City Directory working for Louis Conrad & Son Produce 2218 Franklin Avenue.

Jacob Conrad married Minna Maria Carolina Zimmerman (b Dec 15, 1854 d Nov 20, 1903 at age 48 Saint Louis, MO) on Sep 28, 1878 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin (Wisconsin Marriages, 1836-1930, FamilySearch.Org, Source Film: 1275568, pg 369). The six children of Jacob and Minnie Conrad included: (1) Laura Conrad (b 1879 d Oct 7, 1922 in Augusta, VA) who married H. C. Cooper; (2) Hertha A.
