Goldie Darlene Maze, age 70, of Connersville, passed away on Tuesday October 31, 2006 at her residence. She had been in failing health the past several months, but her death was unexpected.
She is the daughter of the late Arthur and Leah White Conner and was born in Union County, Indiana on August 15, 1936.
She is a member of the Grandview Word of Life Church. She had work at Sparkle Car Wash, was a private duty CNA and also in the Transitional Care Unit at Fayette Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Leah Ledington and Mary and Randall Sturgeon all of Connersville; two sons and daughters in law, Burfurd Donald and Mary Maze and Donald Dewayne and Crystal Lykins all of Connersville; a brother and sister in law Earl and Carol Conner of Connersville; three sisters and brothers in law, Jackie and John Lutz, Diane and Cletus Thomas, Jr., and Sandy and Thomas Horning all of Connersville; eight grandchildren, Amanda Ledington, Star Maze, Donny Maze, Valerie Rader, Kile Sturgeon, Destini Johnson, Beth Wright and Ryan Wright; five great grandchildren, Trinity Rader, Jordan Rader, Dakota Lykins, Dylan Geise, and Bryleigh Lykins; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald E Maze who she married on December 1, 1957 and he passed away on February 17, 2004; a son Teddy Norman and a sister Jane Chasteen.
Funeral services will be held at Grandview Word of Life Church on Friday November 3, 2006 at 3pm with Rev. Larry Callahan of the church officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
