She was born in Pekin, IL on January 25, 1941 to William Francis and Lorene Anna Wimpy Coltrin. She married Harold Gaines Conner.
He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents and one brother, William Dean Coltrin.
She is survived by her friend with whom she made her home for the last 16 years, Kenneth DeGood; two daughters, Terri (Chuck) Bybee McLaughlin of Herrin and Tina (David) Bybee Loree of London, Ontario; six grandchildren, Jill, Phillip, Garon, Jacob, Mark and Eric; two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Nolan; one brother, Robert (Lola Sue) Coltrin of Harrisburg; one sister, Janet (Ronnie) Moberly of East Peoria; and numerous very special nieces and nephews.
Joyce graduated from the Oehrlein School of Cosmetology. She worked for many years at Key Industries, most recently worked for several years with great friends at Morton Glass Works, last working June 22 of this year.
She attended the Creve Coeur Christian Church and loved to play bingo.
The family wants to thank Dr. Talkad at OSF Neuro Care I.C.U. and the wonderful nursing staff. They would also like to thank the staff at Forrest Park for helping to make Joyce's last days comfortable. And a special thank you to OSF Hospice for the care they gave to Joyce and her family.
Joyce Ann had a wonderful, fun life, as shown by the tremendous amount of love she was surrounded by in her last days. Thank you to all for showing us what love is really about.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
