MR. CONNELL JR.
William Earnest Connell Jr., 82, of 17 Spring Circle, Lindale, died Thursday at a Rome hospital.
Mr. Connell was born in Floyd County, Feb. 8, 1914, son of the late William Earnest Connell Sr. and Mattie Martin Connell. He was a longtime resident of Lindale and member of First Baptist Church of Lindale.
Survivors include: his wife, Virginia Daughtery Connell, to whom he was married, March 27, 1938; son, Wesley Connell, East Point; a brother, Frank Connell, Silver Creek; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Lindale with the Rev. Tim Burnham and the Rev. Thermon Moore officiating. Interment will be at East View Cemetery.
