A.J. Conklin Dies at Standish in His 79th Year
Albert Joseph Conklin, aged 79 years, died last Sunday at the home of his son-in-law, Frank Buffam, of Standish. The deceased was born in Canada and came to California at the age of 21. He had lived in Lassen county for 40 years. Surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Buffam and Mrs. Dolph Alexander, of Standish and a son, A.R. Conklin, of Ravendale. Funeral services were held at the local undertaking chapel on Monday, with the Rev. Mark Pike, officiating. Burial was in the new cemetery.
