Henry Hubbard Conklin, the son of John Robert Conklin and Sarah Elizabeth Mattingly, was born in 1889. He was the husband of Nova J. Drane, the daughter of William T. Drane and Amy Adams. She was born in 1892. He served in the Field Artillery during World War I.

Hubbard Conklin died in Grayson County, Kentucky at the age of 70 on March 21, 1960. He is shown in the following Kentucky Death Record as Henry H. Conklin with his date of death given as March 21, 1960. He was buried as Hubbard Conklin in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Leitchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky. He shares a stone there with his wife Nova J. Conklin, who died on September 26, 1970.
