Ida Blanche Conder Burt, 90, passed away June 23, 2001 in San Jose, California.
Ida was born in the family home April 30, 1911 in American Fork, Ut. The daughter of George Alfred Conder and Elizabeth Cousin. She married Robert Crowther Burt in the Salt Lake Temple. Robert died 1988.
Ida was the eighth of 12 children. She is survived by Sylvia (Ray) Holdaway; Ray (Donna) Conder and Rose (Cecil) Jacobson. Ida graduated from American Fork High School. She was a woman of great love and compassion. A person without guile. Her motto was "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"
Ida spent many years working at the Utah State Capital, in the license division as a key punch operator.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she looked forward to attending the temple with friends from the Seville Retirement Home.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shaunna Donaldson.
Ida is survived by her three daughters, Roberta (Gary) Bullough of Manteca, CA; Joan (Clair) Ralph of Provo, UT; Kathryn (Lynn) Salisbury of San Jose, CA; 15 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive. A viewing for friends and family will be one hour prior to services at 12 Noon. Interment will be at the Sandy City Cemetery.
