Frozen to Death. Charles Conant of North Beverly was Injured While Chopping Wood and Succumbed to Cold.

BEVERLY, Jan. 3--Injured by the falling branch of a tree and unable to rise, Charles Conant, of North Beverly was frozen to death in the woods today. Mr. Conant had been cutting wood near Norwood Pond. His body was found lying in such a position as to show that a branch had struck and that either from unconsciousness or from the severity of his injuries he lay where he fell, and perished of the cold. He was 76 years of age and a bachelor.
