Mrs. Carmaleta Compton, 73, widow of Allen C. Compton and former resident of Brunswick, died Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Bessie Raines, 2731 Parkwood Avenue, Baltimore. She was a daughter of the late Nimrod and Annabelle Becraft Barnhart. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Brunswick and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Surviving are two sons, Floyd D., Philadelphia, and Clyde A., Kansas City.
The remains will be at the funeral home in Brunswick after 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Services will be conducted there at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon by Rev. George Bennett. Interment will be in Park Heights cemetery. C.H. Feete and Bro., funeral directors.
