MRS. ELIZA BRANDT SUMMONED IN DEATH
Funeral Services Held At Home Near Unadilla Today (Thursday) : Burial In Unadilla Cemetery
Mrs. Eliza Cromley Brandt, wife of G.W. Brandt of Unadilla, died early Wednesday morning, March 25, 1942, following an illness covering a period of twenty years. Funeral services were held at the home this afternoon at 2 o'clock (Thursday) and Burial was made in the Unadilla cemetery .
Mrs. Brandt was born in England, December 13, 1858, having reached the age of 83. She passed away at the family home two miles north of Unadilla where she had lived many years.
She is survived by her husband, who is 93 and is ill at the present time, two sons, Harrison and George of Unadilla, and two daughters, Ruth, a member of the Peru Teachers College faculty, and Mary , at home.
The Brandts are one of the early families of the Unadilla community and Mrs. Brandt was respected and loved by all who knew her. Her loss to the family circle is a great one.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of Tonsing & Son Mortuary at Syracuse.
