Mildred Louise McGregor, 66, of Eden, returned to her Heavenly Father Monday afternoon, March 16, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and sister.

Mildred was born in Safford on Sept. 2, 1948, to Thomas Harold Colvin and Etha Levora Marvin. She was the youngest of six children. She attended school in Pima, graduating in 1966. In early October of 1965, she met the love of her life, Anthony McGregor. The day before graduation, he proposed, and they were married July 23, 1966.

Mildred loved the holidays where she could bake her famous pecan and pumpkin pies. The holidays also brought big family get-togethers. She would never miss any of her kids', grandkids' or great-grandkids' birthdays. She loved going to all their games and, even if she didn’t feel up to it, she still went.

Mildred is survived by: her loving husband, Anthony McGregor; daughters, Shawntel Ballard (John) and Pernecia Norton; sons, James McGregor and Robert McGregor (April); her 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren with three more on the way; her sisters, Pearl Cauthen and Madge Moffett; her brother, Tom Colvin (Harriet); and her sisters-in-law, Edith Lorton (Kenny) and Louise McGregor.

Funeral services for Mildred will be conducted Monday afternoon, March 23, 2015, at 2 p.m., at the Fort Thomas LDS Chapel by Bishop David Ward, of the Fort Thomas Ward.

Concluding services will follow in the Eden Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, March 22, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., at the Fort Thomas LDS Chapel Relief Society Room.
