Sallie Mae C. Autry

Mrs. Sallie Mae Collins Autry, 68, died Friday, March 18, 1988, at Hinds General Hospital in Jackson.

Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant with burial in West Cemetery.

Mrs. Autry is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Sally Autry Brock of Ridgeland; sons, John Clarence Autry of Yazoo City and Paul Edward Autry of Brandon; three, grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by five sisters, Mrs. Maggie C. Curtis, Mrs. Mary C. Fox, Mrs. Clara C. Land, all of Winona, Mrs. Frances C. Autry of Goodman, Mrs. Syble C. Deason of Booker, Texas; and two brothers, Garland Collins of Winona and Eugene Collins of Sturgis.

Sally Mae Autry

Funeral services for Mrs. Sally Mae Collins Autry, 68, of Ridgeland were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant. Rev. Jerry Bishop officiated with interment in West City Cemetery.

Mrs. Autry, a native of Montgomery County and formerly of Lexington, died Friday, March 18 at Hinds General Hospital in Jackson. She was a member of Hays Creek Baptist Church of Montgomery County

Survivors include two sons, John Clarence Autry of Yazoo City and Paul Edward Autry of Brandon; one daughter, Sally Brock of Madison; brothers, Garland Collins of Winona and Eugene Collins of Sturgis; five sisters, Francis C. Autry of Goodman, Maggie C. Curtis, Mary Fox and Clara Land of Winona and Syble C. Deason of Booker, Texas; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Doug Self, Phillip Browning, Cliff Autry, Earl Coleman, Billy Newsom, John M. Self and Harold Land.
