Hazel M. Armpriester
Mrs. Hazel M. Armpriester, 72, died at 5:45 a.m. today at the Linton Nursing Home.
Mrs. Armpriester was born June 5, 1901 in Sullivan County, the daughter of Perry and Mary Collins. She had lived in Clay City about 20 years before moving to Linton in 1960. Her first husband, William Melton, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Clay City Study Club and the Linton First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include the husband, Harry Armpriester, Linton; and a nephew Collins Raines, Greenville, S.C. Three brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Welch and Cornett Funeral Home with Rev. James Gentry and Deaconess Nola Yoder officiating and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery at Clay City. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
