Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Murray, 85, of 319 East Pine, who died Mar. 5 at her home, were conducted at 2:00 p. m., Mar. 9, at the St. James Methodist Church by the Rev. W. L. Lee, pastor. Favorite hymns were sung by the choir, accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Hall. Pallbearers were Harry Avery, Bert Cox, Wayne Jackson, Jim Davis, Lindell Swindell and Henry Reed. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Schaberg Funeral Home. Florence Collins, the daughter of John and Hannah Collins, was born Aug. 1, 1873, in Clinton where she spent her lifetime. She married Harlan Watson to which union three children were born, her husband and two daughters preceding her in death. In 1922 she married Jerome Murray who also preceded her in death several years ago. Mrs. Murray was a member of the St. James Methodist Church with which she united on Sept. 3, 1912. . She leaves her son, Frank Wat son, and daughter-in-law, Margaret; and a sister, Mrs. Lula Hall, Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Harvey Collins, Los Angeles, Calif, a nephew, Oliver Hall, St. Louis; many other relatives and friends.
