Daniel was the oldest of three children born to Isaac Jordan Collins and Mary O Lyons. Most of the Collins family resided in Pennsylvania. He married twice. In 1956 Cecelia Alice Hurst Hankins became his second wife. He was a tile setter by trade. There are many buildings and homes throughout Washington and Oregon that display his artistic ability. He was a fun loving man with a great sense of humor. He became step-father to her three children. He accepted her children as his own. He worked hard at his craft and loved Cecelia very much. They lived in a home he built in Vancouver, Washington until his diagnosis of lung cancer. A year later, in 1981 he died. We miss you.
