Miss Collins was born in Kansas City, KS, and was a lifelong resident. She taught 31 years for Unified School District 500 and was currently teaching at Eisenhower Middle School. She was a member of Christ the King Church. She leaves her parents, Virginia and Andy Collins; three brothers, A.J. Collins, Jr., Phil Collins, and Rich Collins, all of Kansas City, KS; a sister, Nancy Pack, Arvada, CO; 18 nieces and nephews.
