BLACK, ANNIE EUDORA COLLIER "M'AM'A", passed away August 14, 2010 in Birmingham. She was born March 5, 1921 in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by parents, Earl S. Collier, Sr. and Annie Williams Collier; and husband of 50 years, Alvin Johnson Black, Jr.

She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1940 and later from business college. She retired from Microflex Watch Band Company in Leeds after 20 years.

She is survived by children, Margaret Black, Karen Parr (Larry), and Alvin Johnson Black III (Karen); grandchildren, Richard Rasbury (Carrie), Alvin Johnson Black IV (Ronda), and Jeanne Stark (Joe); great-grandchildren, Hailee Rasbury, Joe Stark, Jannah Stark, and Jaiden Stark.

Thanks to Dr. Hernando Carter and St. Vincent's East staff for their kindness and courteous care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. at Roebuck Chapel Funeral Home. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Pastor Pete Clifford officiating.
