MRS. EMMA W. BELCHER OF RANDOLPH DEAD
RANDOLPH, Feb 16--Mrs. Emma W. Belcher, aged 76, widow of Hon. J. White Belcher of this town, died this morning after a short illness at the Hotel Nottingham, Boston, where she was spending the winter.
She was born in Randolph, daughter of William and Betsy Taber(Cole).
She was married to Mr. Belcher Jan 10, 1858 by Rev. Christopher M.Cordely. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and a charter member of the Ladies' Library Association, organized in 1855.
Mrs. Belcher leaves one daughter, Mrs. Herbert W. Pratt, who resided with her. Mr. Belcher died Feb 9, 1906.
The body will be brought here on Thursday and the funeral will be held at the First Congregational Church at 3:30.
