Betty Ann Cole, 79, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and caregiver, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2014. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet. Betty was born Feb. 9, 1935, in New Iberia, La., to Maude and Willie Cole. She had spent most of her life in Fort Worth and had worked in childcare for over 35 years. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters. Survivors: Sons, Ronald H. DeSoto and wife, Denise, and Randy Lynn Williams; grandchildren, Bryan K. Desoto and Sharon C. DeSoto Belew; great-grandchildren, Maddison P. DeSoto and Makinzee M. Aldridge; sisters, Sandra Fray and Carolyn Owens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
