The girls almost certainly went into the care of Alice's parents. They were said to not have been happy with the marriage but crazy about their two granddaughters.
The granddaughters were probably Elizabeth Colden Antill who married the Rev. Frederick Van Horne and Alice Antill who married William Davies. Dr. Lewis Antill was said to have been born 10 Dec. 1746 at Piscataqua, Middlesex County, New Jersey.
