Marilyn Elizabeth Colburn of Bloomsdale,Mo. died Saturday May 10,2008 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis, mo.She was 67 years old.
Visitation for Mrs. Colburn is Tuesday May 13,2008 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus,mo. Funeral services are Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Mahn Twin City Chapel with Reverend Jim Owens officiating. Burial is in Concord Cemetery in Bloomsdale. Mahn Twin City chapel is handling the arrangements.
She was born August 28, 1940 in St. Louis,Mo.,a daughter of Eugene and Marian (Matthews)Saur.
She was married to John Jegel and later married Bill Colburn and he survives in Bloomsdale, Mo.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters,Jennifer(Mrs.Dane)Briggs of Oklamona, Julia(Mrs. James) Thompson of St. Charles,Mo.and Diane Jegel of St. Louis,Mo;three sons, Anthony (Joni)Jegel of Fenton,Mo., Christopher(Micki)Jegel of St.Louis,Mo.,and Mark(Tammy)Jegel of Biloxi,Ms.;a stepson Mark Colburn Ste. Genevieve,Mo;three stepdaughters Jerri(Terry) Bequette of Ste. Genevieve, Mo, Missy (Tom) Gray of Bloomsdale,Mo., and Vicki(Paul)Bouscher of Bloomsdale,Mo; by 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandhildren.
She was proceded in death by her pand her first husband.
Mrs. Colburn was a member of Second Baptist Church. She loved to travel,collect and watch moviesand knit. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.She was a corporate trainer for Bob Evans restaurants.
The family requests memorial to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
