Joe Cephas P Cohey bravely fought for his country in Germany during World War II. His platoon was surrounded by enemy fire, and knowing there was no hope for survival and surrendering was not an option, he fought till his last breath. After being shot once, he was patched up and sent out into battle. A second time he was shot, they patched him up and sent him out again. The third time was the final blow for Joe. He was killed in action bravely serving his country.
