After an illness of pneumonia of only seven days, James William Coffman died Saturday morning at fifteen minutes past ten o'clock at his home on Paul Street. Mr. Coffman was a victim of the Spanish Influenza and the pneumonia followed.

Mr. Coffiman, who was about 46 years of age, was well known in this city, where he was born and raised.

For a number of years he was a faithful member of the Methodist Church and his death takes from the community a substantial and respected citizen.

Surviving are hia wife, who was Miss Ella Snyder, two daughters, Ruth and Bvelyn Coffman, and two sons, John Coffman, of Camp Lee; and Aubrey at home. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lena Miller, of Hinton, West Virginia and Mrs. Ed Eakle, of Bolar Springs, three brothers, Joseph Coffman, of Hinton; T. (N. CofTman, of Dayton; and Charles V. Coffman, of Philadelphia.

Funeral arrangements at a late hour last night had not been completely arranged, but it is known that the services will he conducted sometime Monday afternoon.
