Graveside Funeral Services for David LeRoy Hanson, 73, of Sulphur Springs will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Gafford Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Hall and Rev. BJ Teer officiating.

David LeRoy Hanson passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 8, 1939 in Sulphur Springs,
the son of Hugh Desmul and Hazel Oma Phillips Hanson. He married Virginia Sue Wilemon on February 21, 1959 in Hugo, Ok. She survives. He was a retired Manufacturing Engineer for Rockwell International. He served in Army National Guard and was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include two sons, Billy Jack Orsburn ,and wife Candace,and Robert Orsburn and wife Robin ,all of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Janet Hanson St. Clair of Sulphur Springs; brother, Phil Hanson and wife, Martha of Sugarland; sister, Carole Gillespie and husband Charles of San Angelo; grandchildren, Tosha Utt and husband Chris, Amanda Orsburn, Heather Myers and husband, Cody, and Judd Orsburn; great grandchildren, Aidyn Utt, Rylan Utt, Wednesday Myers, Regan Myers, and Bianca Orsburn. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, David Hanson.
