Boonie Coffey married Edward Leslie Bridges on November 1, 1905 in Bandera, Bandera County, Texas. To this union were born 7 children. Her second child was still born on October 20, 1908, and is buried next to her.
Boonie Coffey-Bridges died on May 4, 1927 in Tarpley, Bandera County, Texas from breast cancer at just 50 years, 2 months, and 23 days of age. Boonie lived just long enough to see her very first grandchild be born.
Boonie Coffey Bridges and her husband Edward Leslie Bridges were a very popular couple in the little town of Tarpley, Texas. They were known to have get-togethers that people would come from far away to be part of.
