SAN ANGELO. Isabelle C. Brink, 92, of San Angelo passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, in The Woodlands, Texas.
A Catholic Daughter's wake service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Holy Angels Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Greenwell as celebrant.
Isabelle was born Nov. 23, 1912, in Erie, Pa., to her parents, William P. and Anna Koenig Coffey. She grew up in Erie and graduated from Benedict Academy in Erie. She went to work for G.T.E. Telephone Company and worked there for 10 years.
Isabelle married Edward C. Brink Sr. on July 19, 1941, in Erie, Pa., and they shared 25 wonderful years of marriage together before he preceded her in death in 1966. She devoted her life to taking care of her family as well as being a very dedicated member at Holy Angels Catholic Church.
She was a member of the Holy Angels Ladies Organization, the Catholic Daughters and the G.T.E. Pioneer Club, and was a volunteer for many years at St. John's Hospital.
She is survived by her loving family, two sons, Edward Charles Brink and his wife, Sarita, of Montgomery, Texas, and James William Brink and his wife, Carol, of Rock Port, Mich.; three grandchildren, Leslie Erin Brink and Alicia Ann Brink, both of Austin, and Thomas Edward Brink of Vine Grove, Ky.; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Brink, Kaitlyn Brink and Dylan Brink; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Angels Building Fund.
