Alice Inez Coffey, 89, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 in a Springdale AR nursing home.
She was born in Myerstown, MO and lived in the area for many years.
She was a homemaker and a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church of Fayetteville. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star in Houston, MO and served as Worthy Matron twice and was the district Grand Marshall. She was a member and a past president of the Fleet Reserve Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell K. Coffey.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by her daughter Peg Coffey of Fayetteville, AR; one son, Ralph Coffey of Waldron, AR; one sister, Peggy Daugherty of AR; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the funeral service.
