Bud Coffey, 74, of Rt. 3, Oneida, passed away in the Scott County Hospital Wednesday morning October 1. He was the son of the late John Coffey and the late Henrietta Blevins Coffey, he retired from service with the U. S. Navy after twenty-five years. Survivors: brother, Woodrow Coffey of Oneida; five sisters, Mrs. Jennie Newport of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Christine Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Ina Morris of Oneida, Mrs. Bessie Goodman of Oneida, Mrs. Agnes Mays of Oneida. Funeral services were conducted from the Graveside at the Hazel Valley Cemetery 2 p.m. Friday October 3, with Rev. Roy Blevins officiating.
