GERARD (JERRY) COFFEY Died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at his home in San Bernardino. He was born June 1, 1928, on Long Island, New York. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He then came to California and was with Rohr Aircraft, Riverside for 33 years. He was an Elk for over 25 years. Jerry was a most dedicated, devoted, and beloved husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of over 51 years, Deidre, his daughter Deirdre Perkins (Michael) and his son, Gerard (Sherice). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-7pm, followed by Rosary at 7pm, at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, on Monday, December 19. Mass will be at 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N. Arrowhead Avenue, San Bernardino, on Tuesday, December 20, followed by interment at 11:45 am, at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518. A reception will follow at Elks Lodge #836, 2055 Elks Drive, San Bernardino, upon return from Riverside. Published in Press-Enterprise on December 18, 2011
