Barbara Nell Coffer-Anderson, 50, of Amarillo died Monday, April 17, 2006.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Grover Neal, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Warford-Walker, 509 N. Hughes St.
Barbara Nell Coffer-Anderson was born June 19, 1955, in Borger to Richard C. and Pinkie D. Coffer. She attended the public schools of Borger, graduating from high school. She furthered her education at West Texas A&M University.
She married Willis Anderson on Dec. 22, 1978. To this union two children were born.
She began her Christian experience at an early age at Bethel Baptist Church in Borger. Upon moving to Amarillo, she united with St. John Baptist Church, serving as president of the usher board, Danyale Prayer Retreat and Pastor's Advisory Committee.
She was employed as juvenile probation officer in Potter County for 17 years.
Survivors include her husband, Willis Anderson Sr.; two children, Tamkea Simpson and Willis Anderson Jr. of Amarillo; three sisters, Donna Pinkney and husband Greg of Lubbock, and Lawanda Loftis and husband Raymond and Shirley Bradley and husband Robert, all of Borger; three brothers, Dwight Coffer and wife Debbie of Borger, Donale Coffer and wife Josie of Amarillo and Ray Coffer of Irving; and four grandchildren.
