Former Carthage resident Frances Coffee, 80, Yucaipa, CA. was pronounced dead on arrival early Sunday morning at a hospital there.
Born September 25, 1904 at Tonica, IL., Mrs. Coffee resided in Lamar and Carthage before moving to California one year ago.
She was married to Hubert Coffee who died March 1, 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Laurence R. Coffee of Yucaipa and Paul S. Coffee of Hyden, Colorado. Five daughters Phyllis Pottoroff of Carthage; Helen Bedford of Portland, OR.; Harriet Beard of Sargus, CA.; Margaret Wyko of Tuscon, AZ; and Elizabeth Boyle of Nevada, MO.
Three sisters: Mrs. Arthur Brandenberger of Danville, IL.; Beatrice Lotz of Grandridge, IL.; and Neita Alvin of Tacoma, WA.; and 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
