DELANO ROSS GREGORY COFFEE born April 25, 1936 in Oakland, California to parents Mary George and Eugene Coffee, who have preceded him in death. His former wife Diane Coffee and his daughter, Stacey, are left behind to cherish his memory. Ross was the loving grandfather of Nikole, Sienna and Maurice, all of whom shall miss him terribly. His sister, Carole Tripp, many loving family members, and a lifetime of friends, also survive him. Ross entered the United States Air Force in 1954. After traveling the world, he returned to the Bay Area, where he was manager for Firestone Tires. He then became a Deputy Enforcement Officer for Alameda County, where he remained until his retirement. Ross then became an independent contractor. He enjoyed watching football, hunting, and traveling along the coast. Ross entered into rest in Oakland on October 10, 2005 after a long illness. A celebration of his life will held Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, 3701 High Street, Oakland, California 94619.
